January Nature Log
Have you been outside?
Have you taken a snowy walk through the forest this month?
The rusty bark of red pines is waiting for you amongst the other trees.
Or maybe you prefer to spend some time at the base of a giant hemlock.
To trace the deep grooves with your gloved fingers.
Maybe you’re waiting for the sun to come out.
For the forest to glow.
For pillowy snow to catch shadows.
For winter colors to shine just as bright as summer ones.
Lean close to what the snow leaves uncovered.
But, hurry home before the sun sets.
Oh—and keep an eye out for mushrooms wearing moss hats wearing snow caps!

Beautiful pictures, makes you want to whisper when look at them.
Love love love this poetic picture log!!! Thank you 😊♥️😘
