Wow! You are an inspiration! I loved reading your story, thank you for sharing! 💖 So happy I found you! It was the chicken bag! A fun piece of wearable art!
This, this makes my heart and soul smile. I love who you are and that you know who you are. You have always been a bright light, and I love seeing you shine. 🔆.
I’ve been blessed enough to be here for the whole ride. Excited for everything that comes next.
Hi Madison! I made my way here by way of seeing your fish bag on threadloop (which is sort of great, isn't it?) and have been wanting to reach out to you re: making a quilted pogonip pullover. I'm also an illustrator who sews, although you came to this match made in heaven much earlier in life than I did. I'm currently working on a YA (graphic) novel, so if you ever need to reach out to someone else who's currently in the weeds of it all, I'm your girl. Good luck. Love your substack!
Hi Elizabeth! Thank you so much for such a nice message! I would be so happy to discuss a quilted pullover, and I am absolutely a huge new fan of your illustration work. Wow! Really gorgeous watercolor sketchbook pages—I am honored you're following along with me here. I think I would certainly like to take you up on discussing some kid lit stuff; it's often so solitary. Good luck with the graphic novel!!
Fuzzy art... what a blast from the past! Thank you for reminding me for those, I was so into them lol. It was lovely reading about your history as a maker <3
